JOCA - Japanese Organic Cosmetics Association

The Japan Organic Cosmetics Association believes that the basic raw materials used in organic

cosmetics should be those that are originally found in nature, can circulate in nature, and do not

disrupt the balance of nature.

100% of the ingredients must be natural and directly from nature. Ingredients that are not found in nature and that have been newly created by artificially chemically altering the original natural composition are considered "unusable”, this includes manufactured surfactants, colours, perfumes and preservatives. It is a traditional plant whose safety and usefulness have been proven through the experience of our predecessors.

Cruelty Free International Approval Programme

Earth Sense Organics believes that beauty and/or household products should becruelty free.We are proud to bepart of the CrueltyFree International Approval Programme. A global programme, it requires cruelty-free standards over and above legal requirements. All of our own brand cosmetic and personal care products and/or household and cleaning products, cosmetics, are approved under the Cruelty Free International Approval Programme. We adhere to a fixed-cut-off date policy and proactively monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Cruelty Free International Approval Programme criteria. Our supplier monitoring system is also independently audited.
